Want a great party atmosphere at your birthday or
anniversary ceilidh?
Traditionally, ceilidhs are fast moving, high-energy, fever-rich affairs and there's no better way of celebrating a
special birthday than by entering into the ceilidh spirit. There's nothing better than meeting up with your family,
friends and those closest to you to jig and reel the night away. Ceilidhs are
a great way of involving people together and can make a special birthday or anniversary truly memorable for your
special person.

Scotland's Ceilidh Band has a longstanding tradition of playing at student, birthday and family party night
ceilidhs in central Scotland. Indeed, many of our regulars who have attended our social ceilidhs have gone on to
hire our band again and again for wedding and corporate ceilidhs. The testimonial provided by Eddie Russell doesn't
say that he first hired the band for a student society ceilidh a decade ago - since then he and his family have
re-hired Scotland's Ceilidh Band on no less than 9 further occasions!
The resurgence in the popularity of ceilidhs over the last 20 years or so in Scotland has been
assisted in no small way by the tremendous interest in ceilidhs amongst the younger generation. The high-energy
atmosphere, fun and great dancing at such party events, such as 21st birthday and graduation parties, is much in
evidence.

<tonycoogan@yahoo.co.uk>Hi
Tony,
Just to say a big thank you to the guys for once again helping to make Cara's 21st birthday party a
night to remember. It really made all the difference to have true professionals in charge and there was never
a dull moment with everyone on the floor for each dance - even Gran and Papa were giving it the old knees up!
Hoping it might be a wedding next, although we are missing some likely suspects to fill the groom's shoes, so it
could be while!
Thanks again,
Take care,
Ruth

21st Birthday Celebration 22/8/10
From: Jane Davidson <jane@glenurr.co.uk>
Subject: Re: Colin's 21st Birthday Ceilidh
Wow what a night we had!
Thank you very much to the members of Scotland's Ceilidh band who played at our son
Colin's 21st birthday celebrations on Saturday the 22nd of August 2009 at Threave Gardens in
Castle Douglas.
We had a brilliant night due mainly to the band for providing excellent music and keeping the
evening going by encouraging everyone on to the floor. Their choice of music and dances kept the
evening going and everyone, whether it be the young cousins or the 'young at heart', danced with
enthusiasm and a great deal of enjoyment.
I've seldom been at a party where the teenagers were on the dance floor waiting to find out
what the next dance was going to be.
Many, many thanks again for helping to make our son's 21st birthday a truly memorable
occasion.
Keith and Jane Davidson

You played at my 50th birthday party in the Lake District
and were brilliant. Everyone said afterwards how the band had
completely energised the evening and brought people together.
And it's true!
