A traditional Scottish piper makes a perfect addition to many an occasion. Scotland's Ceilidh Band have a select group of pipers that we would recommend using from our 20 years experience in the traditional music field. For a Scottish wedding, we can request that your Scottish piper is adorned in full highland dress to greet your guests on arrival. During the wedding day, an effective way to use his services is to have him pipe bride and groom and indeed the entire wedding party to their seats at the 'top table'. 

Traditionally, a piper has the leading role when it comes to the 'cutting of the cake' - both with piping bride and groom and also providing the use of his dirk to slice the cake! The wedding breakfast is another occasion that a piper can enhance. It is usual for him to propose a traditional breakfast toast to the newly-weds before piping his way out of the hotel. If you have any guests from South of the border, from Europe, USA or overseas, the presence of a Scottish piper will add colour, tradition and memorability to your occasion.
