Want a Scottish wedding your guests will remember for all the right
reasons?
Scotland's Ceilidh Band will give you an evening you'll want to tell your children
about!

Choosing the right type of band for a wedding reception can be a daunting and time-consuming
experience. You may favour one type of band - but will this suit your guests? What range of ages are going to be
present at the evening reception? What size of venue have you already booked for your wedding?
With Scotland's Ceilidh Band you are guaranteeing an evening that will suit the needs of the
wedding party and your guests. With other types of wedding function band, the choice of venue can prove
constraining - particularly with dance space and stage space for the band - this seldom is the case with a
ceilidh band.

Scotland's Ceilidh Band can range in size, from 2 players upwards, and our high-tech digital sound and lighting
equipment is both versatile and portable. We are equally at home in a small function suite as we are in a
high-roofed hall with stage. Our musical expertise, people skills and top-drawer sound equipment is such that
you can be sure that the dance floor will be full whatever your wedding venue.

From the moment we speak on the phone and confirm your booking, to the moment we turn up at your chosen
venue - we've got your needs and best interests at heart. At Scotland's Ceilidh Band we pride
ourselves in sculpting your Scottish wedding ceilidh to meet the needs of your special day. You may want to include
special requests - for the first dance, last waltz or indeed for any dance during the evening. You may want a small
slot in your wedding night for selected guests in your audience to sing a song ... or two. At your
request we'll restrict Uncle Bertie to just one ballad though!

"J
ust getting round to letting you know how things went last week.
Both the Ceilidh and the Disco that followed were superb, exactly what we were after.
Donald and John were first class and their choice of dances for the ceilidh was excellent. They
did a couple that made sure virtually everyone got involved which was just what we wanted.
Loads of our English guests got stuck in too and really enjoyed it despite the fact
most of them had never been to a ceilidh before."

"Donald got all the songs we wanted for
the Disco which was really appreciated as we had requested a couple of obscure tunes.
All in all, they really rounded off what was a fantastic day in super style. Professional, flexible
if needed and extremely friendly. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending you in the
future!"
Many, many thanks again,
Kind regards,
John and Victoria Leonard

" Thank you so much for your fantastic performance and fun we had at our
wedding at Sandgreen last Saturday. I really cannot describe in words how much we loved it, and
we really didn't want the night to end! It was great to see all of our guests joining in and
enjoying it as much as we did! They have been raving about it ever since, and all our single
friends are now planning their weddings to be just like ours! The celidh was so much fun, and
great entertainment, and there was not a hint of 'cheesy yuck'!"

"This really is something that we will always remember about our
wedding day; it brought our guests together and made the day go with a real (helicopter)
swing."
"I hope that our paths cross again in the future, and that you
continue to do what you do for a long time to come."
Kind regards,
Philippa (Williams) Graham
PS - Please could you send me one of your CDs so that we
can re-live the dances? Thank you!

"The success of
our wedding night was mostly down to the band. People put it up there as one of the best
nights they've ever had."
"The ability to marry everyone into the celebration quickly and effectively - it has to be the

Why not consider our ever popular wedding
ceilidh-discos?
We can if you so wish, complement the evening by splitting it 50/50 for example, with disco music.
Our digital sound and high performance lighting equipment will ensure that we can seamlessly move from the 'Dashing
White Sergeant' into 'Dancing Queen' - or whatever song you choose. Our 'Ceilidh-Discos' have become
increasingly popular in recent years because they give guests so much variety and different styles of dancing. We
provide you with the option of supplying us with a play-list of favourite songs - and even allow you to warn us off
playing your definite 'no-no's' on the evening of your big day.

"It might be 6 weeks on from our wedding but all our friends and family are still
talking about it. The evening really went with a swing and all my worries about the fact
that it was small wedding, (only 40 people), eased away as everyone got on
the dancefloor from song number 1. Hardly anyone left the dancefloor as we went through a
mix of scottish ceilidh, disco and of course my wonderful friends partaking in a bit of
karaoke."
Carol & Charlie's Wedding Ceilidh
(Lodge on the Loch, 24th August '08)
"I would advise anyone thinking about booking a ceilidh to go ahead - there were family &
friends joining in who I have never ever seen on the dancefloor before. I remember us
discussing the finishing time and you saying "well if its a bit slow on the dancefloor at 12.30,
we'll finish then, if not we'll carry on until 1am - I looked at the clock at 12.20 and
everyone was on the floor swinging each other round, even all the children were still up
joining in and I thought, well it looks like he'll have to play until 1!"
"Thank you so much for such a great night and making our wedding so memorable & so much
fun. Please thank all the band members for us."
Best wishes

"Now that we’ve had time to relax after
the wedding of Siobhan and Douglas on Saturday 6th June 09 at
Glenskirlie House in Banknock we would like to pass on our thanks to everyone in the band
for helping make the reception such a wonderful success on the night."
"After the meal at a wedding reception the music that is
played contributes to a successful night - and the
band certainly enhanced the evening. The numerous letters we have received from our guests
after the wedding certainly substantiate our thoughts that it was such a memorable day and
evening."
"Tony, please pass on our thanks to the rest
of the band for helping to make it a day that
Siobhan and Douglas will always
remember."
Best wishes

"Hi Tony, thanks for a great day. Both the caterers and the band were
terrific. I think we can safely say that everything went extremely well with everyone
enjoying themselves in what was effectively a multi-ethnic, multi-national event which
people have said they will remember for a long time to come.
I'd like you to thank the individual Band members for their part in making our wedding day a
brilliant success.
We'll be recommending you!"
